Through personal experience, I'd say the top exercises that have helped increase my thigh/leg size are:
- Romanian Deadlifts
- Pistol Squats
- Supine GHRs on a Swiss Ball with Weight Added
Done right, they scorch the thighs and cause immense growth.
All these new articles on other "strength" sites that talk about doing squats to get bigger and larger thighs: they have it wrong. These 4 exercises even individually beat regular barbell back and front squats any day.
This is ofcourse, just my experience. I used to hate step-ups till Eric told me to do them and now 12 weeks in doing them regularly I'm in love with them haha
