I'm really amazed at the number of people who really believe that they can go from never Deadlifting to a 600 pound pull in 6 months by following some magic program.
With the number of people expecting this and posting about this in forums you would expect 600 pound Deadlifters to be present everywhere and anywhere lol…..
The worst thing is that the big pullers help perpetuate this nonsense - mostly because they're a mix of a few genetic freaks and the actual guys who've worked hard but want to make a quick buck.
Not many people will come out there and say it that to actually be strong and pull huge numbers; you either have to be a genetic freak to do it off the bat or you have to really put in the hard long hours training year after year after year after year to get there. It's looked down on when people at my strength level make this statement but it would be a refreshing change if some of the big boys actually swallow their greed, pride and talk sense about this.
