This is one of THE most common questions I've seen being asked on online forums.
What proceeds is a big discussion on whether Full Body routines or Split routines are beneficial…and whole concept of "Hey: you wanna get strong at WHAT exactly?" gets missed.
You get the standard version..
Full body means you will do a few compound lifts with overlapping muscles (BB-style talk right here) and Splits mean you will focus one day on each big lift and then have accessory muscle-oriented exercises that follow.
Anyone who wants to get big should focus on diet first and anyone who wants to get strong should define what they mean by that to begin with. If they want to get maximal strength on a few key lifts, everything should be designed with that as the sole goal.
Mark Twain:
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
"If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything."
"Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow."
