Hi Eric, Joe and any other Grip Expert viewing this forum.
I had Deadlifts today and I realized something. While I was doing Banded Deadlifts, my grip kept slipping because of my callous injury. So I was forced to use straps.
But, what happened is that with the straps, I was able to move more weight and add more reps. And by a big margin. I held myself back but it got me thinking.
What if for Band work, I used straps and then for Deadlifts I used nothing but chalk and my hands?
It seems like a good idea to me because I am furthering the purpose behind the band work. And in terms of practical application I saw results immediately. After the bands came off and I went up to 495, 495 flew up faster than ever before.
What do y'all think?
