I've become into a little bit of a pig and begun consuming (read: devouring) 2-3 packets of biscuits a day. If you don't know what I mean, look at the picture below and be amazed.
So I guess my question is that I need to get my diet in check…or do I?
Here is what I normally end up consuming over the course of the day (this is for Monday through Friday):
- 6-8 scoops of whey (2 scoops at a time)
- 500-750 grams of chicken (yield after cooking)
- 6-8 slices of white bread (small)
- 2-3 packets of those biscuits (pic above)
- 6+ litres of water (no calorie count on this naturally)
- 3-4 Omega 3 Fish Oil Tablets
- Multivitamins
The break-up:
Protein = 350 grams = 42%
Carbohydrates = 270 grams = 31%
Fat = 95 grams = 27%
Total = 3,280 calories
Until I looked at this right now, I had no idea that my macro breakdown is so decent. LOL…I thought I was like 300g for carbs…it's not that bad.
Ok so I guess I need to rephrase my question.
I've been doing a relatively slow body recomp. A lot of this gets messed up because of erratic sleep.
When I graduated in May and came back from Texas, I weighed in at a solid 215 lbs.
Right now I am at 185-187 at the most.
Thats roughly a 28-30 lbs weightloss.
Except I've gotten bigger everywhere except my waist which has gone back down to 34-36".
So I take it that the diet I have been on for a good 4-5 months now which I thought was shitty is actually faaaarrr from it (except I need veggies).
Is there anyway I can make this better?

Nutrient Timing.
Monday - Friday
8:00 am = 2 scoops whey
10:30 am = 1 packet of biscuits
1:00 pm = Lunch i.e. 250 grams of chicken (minced) by itself (as in nothing else)
3:00 pm = 1 packet of biscuits (normally it is only 1 packet but every so often I become a pig and have 2)
5:30 pm = 2 scoops of whey
9:30 pm = training time during which I sip 2 scoops of whey
12:30 am = Dinner i.e. 500 gram of chicken (this is 500g in curry) with 6-8 slices of bread
2:30 am = 2 scoops of whey or sometimes I skip this
Rinse and repeat
Shit….It actually looks bad…so how the hell have I shed 30 lbs during this time? :-(
The reason why I am asking this is because I am afraid of an upswing….I fear the next thing I know I'm gonna be back at a rolly polly 215 lbs again lol….I do not want anything like that.
Thoughts, anyone?
