gf bought some sundried tomatoes and some basil the other day…make some chicken breasts with it…and it was really good. so tonite we made burgers: 1 pound beef, 1 egg, some finely chopped basil, chopped sundried tomatoes…about a half cup of oatmeal. super delicious and moist. threw some asparagus in the oven to roast…little olive oil and some parmesan cheese…salt pepper and garlic salt. so good. i would rather do it on the grill…but…small grill.
Sounds sweet. That's how I do my asparagus as well. Except I like to sprinkle it with sesame seeds at the end instead of cheese. Try it with toasted sesame seed oil instead of olive oil!
i'm gonna have to try that….i know SD tomato and basil is the oldest combo in the book…but i've never had it before. delicious.
I've never done it either and I had no idea it was the oldest trick in the book. Then again I rarely get very creative with hamburgers.
well just that the SD tomato and basil combo has been around in tons of stuff for a long time…breads and whatnot. but yeah…creativity never happens with burgers…usually :) unless rachel ray is on tv.
