Never one to rest on my laurels I want to let everyone know that I have removed the "Black Book of Training Secrets" from the store and other links and have downgraded it's "score".
My original thought was that there was a whole lot of raw data that when viewed without the interpretations could be very useful (it is for me..at least some of it) but so much of what CT says is such unmitigated bullshit I just had to downgrade it as I think it will just confuse the hell out of most people and have them focus on such ridiculous crap as "fiber type training".
Not to mention stuff he says in articles sometimes…like "a hips UP (powerflifting) style deadlift will involve the hams and glutes "more". HUH? You just feel tension in them more when you begin the pull but then you pretty much are such a mechanical disadvantage that you go from hams straight to low back. I hate stuff like that. HIPS UP is a stupid way to deadlift. I don't care if Dave Tate says it's good. I don't way 350 pounds so dragging the bar back intead of pulling it up sounds like a boner of an idea to me.
Originally Black Book had three exclamation points, not the highest. I'm downgrading it to one to be sure the point is made.
