Wasn't sure where to put this , move it if you feel the need.
For the past 2-3 years I've been writing , weighing and calculating every I eat(almost every day). If I'm tiring to lose ,gain or both it doesn't matter - It's so much of a habit that I started to like doing it and if I didn't do it I was lost. I have to say that it is the best way to find out about your body, what works and what doesn't. It's the most accurate way to know how much food you are putting into your body. Weather you want to do a TCD,full keto or a nice balance of carbs, protein and fat it doesn't matter , weigh your food it helps !.
Make sure when you find out what your daily intake is going to be weigh your food RAW. It could be the difference of 200-300 calories. If your trying to lose weight that will not help it will hurt and you will feel frustrated and blame the diet or the person that put you on the diet when in fact it's as simple as weighing your food and counting your intake.
I know that when I don't count I don't eat enough. Then when I do eat (knowing that I haven't had my fair share of calories) I eat a lot to try and make up for it , and we all know it doesn't work that way.It will only slow down the metabolism rate I guess it's ok if you want to put on weight faster. Some people have the opposite effect , they eat too much for every meal.
So to go along with this make sure you eat 4-6 times a day.
I think it is more important when doing a TCD or KETO as you must not take in carbs or a strick amount of carbs and at certain times. I'm not saying that it's not important with any other diet because it is.
